My hunger peaked in Tusayan, a charming town just outside the Grand Canyon National Park, after a long walk along the gorgeous canyon. I dined at Plaza Bonita, a Mexican restaurant near my hotel, where I savored Asada tacos accompanied by black beans, rice, and a creamy queso blanco dip. The organic margaritas were a refreshing treat, adding a zestful kick to the meal.

For a casual dining experience, Yavapai Tavern was the perfect choice. I enjoyed a crisp Cobb salad while my partner opted for a hearty burger and fries. We both indulged in cold beers, the perfect complement to a day of exploration. This restaurant was located right outside of the Yavapei viewing point.

The Squire Pub and Social offered a cozy ambiance for an evening drink. We sat at the bar next to the large, cozy, and crackling fireplace. We shared Moscow mules and a decadent chocolate tort, a sweet ending to a delightful day.

Breakfast at the Foodie Club was a treat, with scrambled eggs and breakfast potatoes providing the necessary fuel for a day of adventure. I had read some reviews complaining that the potatoes were previously frozen, and it was not what folks expected. Honestly, I thoroughly enjoyed this breakfast and the ambience of the restaurant. The portions were huge and could be shared.

Our final stop for food was at We Cook Pizza and Pasta. For such an unassuming name, this restaurant had fresh and delicious pizzas and a relaxed ambiance. I had a vegetarian personal pizza, and my partner had the meat-lovers pizza. They had generously sized beers on tap. We commemorated our trip by hopping in the photo booth in the corner of the restaurant where I showed off my new engagement ring!
