A stroll through the Garden District reveals antebellum mansions that tell tales of a bygone era. The city's diverse history, from its founding by the French to its vibrant African American culture, is showcased in its many museums, including the National WWII Museum and the New Orleans African American Museum.

Dining at Katie's is like a warm hug from an old friend, with their mouth-watering crawfish beignets and creamy crawfish étouffée. A stroll down Bourbon Street with a hand grenade in hand is a rite of passage, where the neon lights and lively music invite you to let loose and enjoy the moment. But the night doesn't end there; a visit to Hermes Bar with friends and family is where conversations flow as smoothly as the drinks, a place where memories are made and cherished. I have fond memories there from 2010, the year that the Saints won the Super Bowl. The lively partying went all night as everyone was extremely excited from the Saints’ win until I walked down Bourbon street at 4 am in complete quiet, smoke filling the air, everyone had tired themselves out, and I could only feel the ghost of the energy of the whole city from hours earlier. The city mist flowed around me as I knew I would never experience this much togetherness again in my whole life.
